Men are the next cover boys for beauty and make-up brands. Ever since the concept of beauty and make-up influencer begun it has been women focused. But who says: make-up is only for women? Said no one, except the beauty industry. But men make-up influencers pierced through the traditional norms and stormed these beauty standards making a place and getting recognised through social media.


Ever since then there has been no looking back. Everyday the number of men make-up/ beauty influencers only exist to grow. The industry is evolving, becoming all inclusive. Many make-up brands are regularly posting and promoting male beauty influencers to market their product lines. And one amongst them is NYX. But this is just the beginning as the men make-up and grooming industry is expected to be worth $166 billion by 2022. The next big step is to introduce these talented men in advertisement and on brand covers.


It is unjustified to deny a man artist respect based on his gender. Make-up is about inspiring people to express creatively and celebrate self expression. There will be something incredibly attractive about the beauty industry that celebrates inclusivity.
